Dave Shurte

BMI recording artist, Dave Shurte, has been a prolific singer-songwriter since the age of 16. The first song he wrote, he tried out on his brother, who responded, “You didn’t write that!” He took this critique to be extremely encouraging and he never looked back. Dave’s mother, started him on piano lessons at the age of 6. By age 12, Dave had figured that he would never impress a girl with a piano, so he picked up a guitar, then a saxophone, then a harmonica,...etc..... Of course, his first chance to play in a professional band at the age of 18 was on the piano.

Dave started recording his songs in 2005 and continues to expand his catalog to this day.
